This quick tour will introduce you to three historical and culturally rich cities ; The Indian capital city – New Delhi, the Pink City – Jaipur and the City of Taj Mahal – Agra. All the visits included in this program are accessible by wheelchair. You will not only visit UNESCO World Heritage sites but also well preserved forts and palaces reminding you of fairy-tales of bygone royality. Travel to India would be incomplete without a cultural exchange over a meal with a local Indian family.
Arrive Delhi.
You will be met at airport by our office representative who will accompany you to your hotel.

This morning start your tour of India with orientation of New Delhi. New Delhi was designed by British architects, Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir Herbert Baker. Your will drive pass President House, Indian Parliament, India Gate and Connaught Place.
Make your first stop at a prominent Sikh house of worship, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Most parts of this religious site are Wheelchair accessible. Once you enter the main building, you will be mesmerized with the great interior housing holy book Guru Granth Sahib. Around the holy book, there is space to be seated on the floor to listen to “kirtan – the live devotional singing’ and soak in the atmosphere.
Continue to the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the Raj Ghat. Black marble square platform is inscribed with his last words Hai Ram (Oh God) is accessible on Wheelchair.
Later in the evening, proceed to lush green Lodi Garden spread over 90 acres. Garden is beautifully dotted with well-preserved ruins of 15th century belonging to Lodhi and Mughal dynasties.
Depending on time and interest, other possible accessible sites that could be visited on Day 2 and Day3 are Bahai’s temple (closed on Monday), National Museum (closed on Monday and National Holidays) and open air marketplace Dilli Haat.

This morning proceed to Jaipur, the pink city.
Before leaving Delhi, you have possibility of exploring UNESCO World Heritage site of Qutab Minar (Wheelchair accessible). Built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, Qutab Minar is 73m high and surrounded by lush green gardens.
On arrival in Jaipur, check-in at hotel.

Today you will spend some quality time in the company of an elephant at Dera Amer, located in the outskirts of Jaipur city. You will learn many facts about this gentle giant and may also get an opportunity to bathe him. After sumptuous lunch in this beautiful surrounding, return to hotel to relax.
Late afternoon, proceed to beautiful City Palace (most of the sites are Wheelchair accessible) which still houses erstwhile royal family of Jaipur.
Adjacent to City Palace is 18th century astronomical observation site, the Jantar Mantar (wheelchair accessible). This UNESCO World Heritage site built by the Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II has collection of some 20 fixed astronomical instruments.

Morning visit 16th century yellow colored stepwell named as Panna Meena ka Kund (accessible for wheel chair) surrounded by beautiful temples.
Continue further to Amber Fort (partially accessible to wheelchair) known for its architectural splendor.
Designated as UNESCO World Heritage, grand and opulent Amber Fort proudly houses grand palaces, temple, garden and ornate gates.
After this last visit of Jaipur, drive to Agra.
Enroute, depending on the time at hand you may have the possibility of visiting yet another Wheelchair accessible UNESCO World Heritage site of Fatehpur Sikri (the city of victory). This 16th century city was established by Emperor Akbar but vacated after 10 years due to shortage of water. Please be informed that Fatehpur Sikri is around 4h30 drive from Jaipur and this monument closes at sunset, so visit may not be possible in winter months due to shorter days.

Start your day with visit of The Taj Mahal (Wheelchair accessible) built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Designated as UNESCO World Heritage site in 1983, Taj Mahal remains as one of the world’s most celebrated structures (closed on Friday, open from sunrise to sunset).
Continue your visit of Agra by proceeding to another historical and UNESCO World Heritage site, Agra Fort. This 16th century monument is wheelchair accessible is also known as Red Fort.
Afternoon return to Delhi.
Depending upon your flight schedule, you can end your India tour by visiting a local family for dinner and share your experiences. This could be one of the beautiful souvenirs to carry back home (depending on your flight schedule, you can visit Indian family at beginning of tour as well).
Later connect flight to next destination.
